Islam is a very strict religion with many rules and a very diffrent way of life! There are many things Muslims most do in order to be a true Muslim. For example, praying five times a day is very good and is a mandatory thing all Muslims must do. However, some Muslims don't even pray once a day. Those people are not considerd to be true Muslims. Allah is the the alighty and powerful God of Islam. Muslims believe if we worship Allah and do as he commands in the Holy Qur'an we shall be rewarded with paradise. If we are good Muslims and obey the five Pillars of Islam then we would hope to go to heaven. This is something most Muslims look forward too. Mecca is the holiest city to Muslims. It is located in Saudi Arabia. Many Muslims come here for Hajj. Mecca is also the birthplace of Muhammad (peace be upon him). He was the last prophet Allah sent down to lead his people. Islam is a very intresting and compliacated religion. Islam is not taken lightly and over the years many people have been ignorant about that.
The Qur'an is the holliest book to Muslims. It was sent down by an angel Jabril to Muhammad (peace be upon him) so he could spreead the word of god. The first lesson he was taught when Jabril came to him and said "Iqra". "Iqra" in arabic means to read. Muhammad (peace be upon him) said he couldnt read. Then the angles slowly taught him the Qur'an. The Qur'an is something every muslim reads. When we pray we read Qur'an. When we're sick we read Qur'an. We even read the Qur'an just becasue it makes our lives so much easier. There are little kids, ages 4 and up who have memorized the intire Qur'an. These children are remarkable. Usually when someone completes the Qur'an they start over and try and complete it again. The Qur'an is very important to Muslims beacuse it is involved with all the
things we do on live.
Hajj is the place where all muslims dream to go. Mecca is the most beautiful city in the world. You feel so welcome in a place where everybody is Muslim and No one is looking at you like you're and outcast. Hajj is located in Saudi arabia and Muslims come here to touch the Ka'ba and to pray. The Ka'ba is the big black cube in the center of Mecca. Muslims believe that if you touch the Ka'ba then all your bad deeds will be whiped clean. However, you actuall have to mean it when you touch the Ka'ba. Many Muslims go tothe Ka'ba just so they can get deeds whiped clean.
Any non-Muslim who converts to Islam starts off with a new clean record and is considered a baby.s Babys cannot sin so thats why they are considered babys That person cannot sin until they have been Muslim for quite sometime. Islam is the second largest religion in the world. Some people should actually try and learn the Qur'an. You'll be very suprised on what you read. The Qur'an was writtien very long ago and has never been changed. It has predictied many things that people will be doing as time goes on. And if you look at the world today you would know ecatly what the Qur'an is refering to.

Persepolis really connected with me because I thought it was special that some people wore the veil even though they didn't have to when they were inside their homes. Allah says in the Qur'an that " every women who walks past a man with the veil on recieves 100 good deeds." I do feel bad for the people who were forced to obey the Islamic rules, however, I hope it opened their eyes and actually made them realize that Islam is a very strong religion.
